Risk Management
Identifications of all risk, compiling a risk register, assessing the risks, mitigating them
Managing risks should be a regular, strategically-focused activity and not just merely a compliance-driven add on. It is a crucial part of a charity or non-profit organisations responsibility also. Risk management processes must be in place in order to fulfil the long-term strategic goals of the organisation. The process is identifications of all risk, compiling a risk register, assessing the risks, mitigating them to reduce or remove them and then monitoring, evaluating and reporting.
This is then incorporated into the long-term strategic plan and becomes often referred to document. The larger the organisation the more complex the risk managing will be.
